​Like clockwork, the San Fermin Festival takes places for nine days in July in Pamplona, Spain. It's known throughout the world for the running of the bulls, but it's the festival that draws visitors and then takes on a life of its own. This festival celebrates the city's first bishop and patron saint, Saint Fermin. Thousands descend on this small northern city for a historically-rooted celebration.

My first Airstream sighting happened as a kid when my family and I rolled past Helen, Ga, headed toward Hiawassee, Ga.. Nestled in a valley just before we climbed the switchback mountain to Hiawassee, a community of silver rocket-ship-like oval vehicles rested on the grass. Every one was the same, cute as ever, parked at exactly the same angle, and nothing like I had ever seen before.
